The Aspire Mentorship Programme
Getting an offer into medical or dental school is highly challenging. With competition ratios as high as 10 applicants per place*, even those who are highly eligible may not be successful. We provide a professional, one-to-one mentorship programme to help applicants gain entry into medical or dental schools in the UK and Hong Kong, as well as other abroad universities.
Our mentorship programme is designed to run alongside your studies. It covers the essential aspects of the application process which includes choosing the right universities, work experience, entrance exam preparation e.g UKCAT or BMAT, personal statement writing, and interview skills training. In addition, students undergo a regular process of academic review to ensure they are on track to achieve the grades required for medical / dental school. Finally, students follow a curriculum of interpersonal skills training to develop the essential characteristics of a doctor / dentist.
The mentorship programme is comprehensive, interactive, and one-to-one, which means it is personal and delivered precisely to your needs. The programme is run by experienced doctors and dentists who are highly dedicated to medical education and the nurturing of the next generation of doctors and dentists. We acknowledge and understand the hard work and uncertainty of applying for University and we are here to help you.
We have years of experience in the application process for medicine and dentistry, and know precisely what is required for candidates to succeed. You can be confident that the Aspire Mentorship Programme will fully prepare you for securing an offer into medical or dental school and beyond.

News - Nov 2018 | intensive Ethics & interview training
Our final workshop this term focused heavily on ethics and its application to medical and dental interviews. It was a busy day of discussion, covering the main ethical issues a student would be expected to know for an interview, including abortion, Gillick competence, jehovah's witnesses, DNAR, safe-guarding etc. The 4 pillars of ethics: Autonomy, Beneficence, Non-Maleficence and Justice, were reinforced into the students to apply into their answers.
Sample scenario - You are a general practitioner. You have asked your patient, a 25-year-old female, to come in for a check up because she is 12 weeks pregnant. During the consultation she tells you that she is drinking 40 units of alcohol a week. She is determined to go through with the pregnancy. Discuss the ethical dilemmas raised and what your next steps are.
How would you approach this?
London Workshop (18/11/18) - Full day of mock MMIs and ethics discussion, including abortion, blood transfusion, DNAR, Gillick competence, and many more.
